my Background
P Kedaranath Reddy (PhD)
I'm conducting my research under the guidance of Prof. Sumit Sen at the Department of Hydrology, IIT Roorkee. Broadly, my work aims to understand an interdisciplinary process called Hyporheic exchange—a small yet ecologically significant process. It is a part of the broad-scale interaction of surface water and groundwater, which has been popularly referred to as the 'liver of the river' in the past. My research focuses on developing this understanding through field experimentation in the Himalayas.
